EVEN though he is 32, Ratu Veresa Toma is playing like he used to do in his heyday.

He believes age is no barrier to sport as long as one has the skills to play the sport.

"I always look for a chance to play. People think I'm quite old to play but whenever I take the field, I feel young," Toma said.

"I think young and I play like a young player. I think it's just my ability to do my best which stuns people."

Toma, who currently joined Transmitter Football Club this season.

The lethal striker/midfielder is always a threat to his opponents because of his striking and heading prowess.

He switched to Transmitter in February and wants to help them end the drought by winning a title.

Transmitteer, which boosts majority of young and experienced players, is slowly becoming a team to reckon with in the league.

"My only message to these players is to play as a team. There are 11 players in a side and to win you have to utilise all of them."
